NW England Weather Forecast: Friday, March 13th 2026
Colder today with blustery showers, remaining unsettled going forward!!
A noticeably colder feel today, with a mix of brighter spells and frequent blustery showers, these perhaps more likely across the north of the region but nowhere immune today. Some of these could turn wintry over higher ground with hail possible in the more intense showers. Temperatures will struggle to rise much above 8°C.
Tonight sees showers gradually clearing southwards, leaving clearer skies and lighter winds. It’ll turn chilly by morning with a touch of frost and the risk of icy patches, with lows around -1°C.
Saturday looks much drier after that cold start, with plenty of sunshine through the day. A few showers may arrive later in the evening, possibly wintry, but winds will be lighter than recently. Highs near 9°C.
Looking ahead, Sunday turns more changeable again with patchy rain followed by showers. Monday looks drier for a time before further rain moves in later and into Tuesday. Temperatures slowly edge milder, though breezy conditions return at times.
