NW England Weather Forecast

This forecast is updated daily from 06:00 using the very latest data and observations..

Dry, sunny and very warm across the North West today

Any early low cloud near the coast soon burns away, leaving a dry day with long spells of strong sunshine. A little fair weather cloud may bubble up this afternoon, mainly towards the southeast and over the hills, but it stays fine everywhere.

Very warm again, with highs of 25C to 27C inland and locally up to 29C, though coasts stay fresher with an onshore breeze. It will feel breezy at times over the hills, with gusts of 15 to 25 mph, locally nearer 30 mph on exposed high ground, but light winds in shelter add to the very warm feel.

Tonight stays dry with largely clear skies, though patchy low cloud may develop later, mainly in the east. A fresher night all round prehaps although remaining warm in the cities, with lows of 13C to 17C.
